About Me

Blue sky with fluffy clouds towards the horizon above a stormy sea rolling onto the beach

I’m not great when it comes to introducing myself, to be honest. Either I over share, don’t share enough, or share things that people don’t seem to find interesting. But I’m trying to do this anyway, so that you all have an idea who I am.

I’m 34 years old and especially since autumn 2021 I have learned a lot about myself and am still learning so much. I have always been a very introspective, and quite frankly very self-critical person. But like everyone else there was, and still is, a lot I don’t know. Especially when it comes to mental health and neurodivergence. And that is exactly why I decided to start this blog. I want to share with people my journey of self-discovery, of learning, of learning to allow myself to drop my mask and show who I truly am. To feel safer and more comfortable with this adventure, I decided to do this anonymously. At least for the time being.

Anyways, I could write a lot more about who I am, but I want to keep this brief. So I’m simply going to throw out the labels and descriptors I use for myself (in no particular order):

Daughter. Sister. Nerd. Woman. Autistic. Writer. Artist. Pastor. Cis. Asexual. Panromantic. Queer. Bookworm. Neurodivergent. Sensitive. Trekkie. Artsy. Friend. Niece. Cousin. Dreamer. Feminist. Left-winged. Survivor. Researcher. Multi-lingual. Hard of Hearing. Empathetic. Aunt. Curious. Someone who struggles with mental health problems. Eclectic. Me.
